I'm very happy that I'm able to bring my post from a year ago full circle. The 2021 CX season has arrived in Chicagoland, and along with it comes at least a small sense of normalcy.
The race itself was great (I managed a 6th place finish in my first race!), but it was even better to see so many folks enjoying a beautiful day outside and supporting a cycling community that has been unable to come together fully over the last year+.
The CX season usually signifies the end of the cycling season here in Chicagoland, before the long, cold dark arrives. I'm so glad that cross is here for me this year to make the most of Fall(s).
